This position is based at our Myers Controlled Power factory in North Canton, Ohio.

CNC Press Brake Operator - Set up and operates a CNC press brake to manufacture parts from sheet metal. Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC press brake machine.
Read and understand production assembly drawings.
Use measuring tools, calipers, tape measure. Recognize different material type/gauge.
Check work for accuracy and completeness.
Follow standard shop practices and verbal instructions.
Must be able to understand established procedures and work instructions.
Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. with no assistance.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
1-2 years of press brake experience.
Ability to read and understand documents written in standard English.
Ability to read and interpret production drawings and work instructions.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.
Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Be safety and quality-oriented, accountable, dependable, reliable, productive, ethical, a strong communicator, innovative, a team player, and have a positive attitude.
